HOW TO HEADBAND: 3 STYLISH WAYS
So you’ve fallen in love with a headpiece, now what? You’re not sure how you want to style your hair around it whilst still showcasing it? Well worry no more because today we’re going to be sharing 3 stylish & modern ways that you can show off your wedding headband, from down tasseled curls, to crown braids and mermaid braids! The best news is we’ve teamed up with Britten who have over 20 wedding headbands available, (seriously guys, they’re insanely beautiful) prepare to swoon….
1. The Mermaid Braid teamed with ‘The Luna Headband’
Start off by curling the whole head to create a thicker base to work with, then create a Dutch braid through the centre of the head whilst tasseling & pulling the plait out wide to give a textured and undone look. Next pop in the headband and leave strands out of the hair around the hairline to then entwine them into the braid at the end to disguise the plait and hairband and to give a more elegant hair up style. Finally, finish this style using headrush by bedhead tigi & flexihead hairspray by tigi to give a flexible hold and a glossy finish. Shop the Luna headband here!
2. The Crown Braid teamed with ‘The Charia Headband’
Use a wand to create tight curls then use a mason brush to comb it all out to create a thicker base of hair also spraying the root with “ohbeehive” by tigi (dry shampoo). Then start with a Dutch braid behind the ear following it all around the hairline but leaving the fringe out to create softness around the face. Whilst making your way around, tassel out the braid to widen it to create a larger and thicker style plait. If you have long hair when you reach back to the starting point simply wrap the excess hair around creating a double braided crown. To finish this style off used a shine spray like “headrush by tigi” to give a glossy finish.

3. The Half Up Half Down Look teamed with ‘The Zoie Headband’
To create this simple but elegant hairstyle first use a wand to create a loose beach curl, then separate the halo and use a comb to put a soft back comb in to create a soft bouffant then use grips to keep the back secure. To finish this simply use a sea salt spray to emphasise the tasseled beach waves.
