WEEKEND WEDDING PLANNING: HALLOWEEN EDIT
I mean seriously, how is it almost Halloween already? I feel like it was JUST summer! This week has been a busy one as Jess has been putting the finishing touches to her murder mystery night and I’ve gluing a million sequins and gems to a hat for my costume, which has taken FOREVER!! But I love the result and I know Jess can’t wait to share the party with y’all with you next week.
Strange as it may seem, over the many years of writing for Bespoke Bride, I now find myself being fascinated with weddings that are moody in style and imagery. It probably has something to do with that the fact that I don’t see many weddings like this on a daily basis as they are a stark contrast to those we feature here. So, it might surprise you to know that I’m planning on giving my own wedding an edgy twist. Don’t get me wrong there will still be tons of colour but I am planning on toning it down, just a tad, which is why Halloween is a dream right now as it means the blogosphere is packed with lots of dark and moody wedding ideas, as well as some colourful ones to OF COURSE! So, if you too are planning something a little darker for your wedding day, today’s edition of weekend wedding planning is just for you…
I love anything Tim Burton and I know fellow fans everywhere are going to love this Spooktacular Wedding.
Also, how cute is this Pumpkin Candy Pail Cake! It’s a cake topped with candy, I mean you really can’t go wrong there can you!

Speaking of cocktails, how good would they look with these Skull Ice Cubes?
Looking for a spooky favor idea? How about these DIY Bath Bombs?
Ok, so I don’t plan on going this dark but this wouldn’t be a Halloween edit if I didn’t include this wedding with its Skulls, Creepy Dolls.
Now, this would be more my thing, an Edgy Electric Elopement.
How about this for unique wedding inspiration? A Lamp Lit Ceremony – dark and edgy, yet super romantic!
If chocolate’s your thing, you need to make these Spider Web Chocolate Bars.
I love how arty these Printable Candy Boxes are! I think they would make excellent favours at a wedding too!
Fall decor doesn’t have to be dark! Brighten it up with these Alcohol Ink Pumpkins.
If your looking for more dreamy than creepy for your wedding day decor how about these DIY Moon Phase Lights.
Or wedding inspiration thats a little more subtly Halloween, the check out this Rooftop Shoot.
