DIY LOVE ISLAND QUOTES STICKER GLASSES

Ok, hands up who’s watching Love Island? I feel this is one of those shows where you either love it, or you hate it (or you love to hate it!) Whether you enjoy the reality tv or think it’s trash, you can’t deny that there’s been some funny slogans to come out of the hit ITV show! I’ll never forget a couple of summer’s ago when everyone was throwing around ‘OH HELL’ every-time something went wrong (Thanks to Dr Alex!) and last summer it was all about ‘It is what it is’. Obviously it’s no secret that we love a funny pun or quote and our sticker collection in the shop are growing more and more every month so it only felt right to release a pack of stickers for all you Love Island fans! You can either buy the pack of stickers here and crack them on a Love Island water bottle or glass, or if you’ve got a Cricut Machine then read on to find out how you can DIY your own!

YOU WILL NEED:

White wine glasses (we used these ones!) // Vinyl in the colours of your choice (we chose pink, orange, blue and yellow) // A Cricut Machine // Transfer tape // Cricut standard grip cutting mat //

STEP 1:

Open up the Cricut Design Space and get ready to start typing your quotes! If you want to use the same font as us here then you’ll need to download the font called Pecita here, and then install it into your design space. (If you’re unsure on how to install fonts then this post will show you how)

STEP 2:

Choose your quotes! We went for a selection of the following ten:

I’ve got a text
Cracking on
My type on paper
It is what it is
Oh hell
Do bits society
I’m loyal babes
Factor 50 thick
Melt
Heads been turned

But of course if you’ve got other favourites then simply use the ones you love!

STEP 3:

Lay your vinyl onto your cutting mat and load it into the machine ready to cut, then hit that Go button!

STEP 4:

Once the machine has finished cutting out all of your quotes you’ll need to simply pull away the negative space leaving your quotes behind!

STEP 5:

Next, take your transfer tape and place it over top of your stickers, making sure to rub down hard on the stickers so the tape picks them up. Then finally place the transfer tape onto the glasses, give them a rub and then pull the tape away leaving behind the stickers! Easy peasy right and so perfect for a Love Island themed party! Maybe you could make a bunch ready for the final?!
