THIS CHEERFUL YELLOW TEARDROP CAMPER WEDDING IS HERE TO HELP PUT A SPRING IN YOUR STEP
In these current times, a road trip elopement seems to be an appealing solution for today’s couples looking to get married stat. What is more fun than using a pull-behind pop-up camper as not only your wedding inspiration but your honeymoon vessel?!
The team behind today’s inspiration were inspired by a cheerful yellow teardrop caravan named Margot.
“Its cheery colour seemed to call for an open grassy field or meadow and we found the perfect grassy little spot with tiny white flowers growing.” Began photographer, Cystal.
“We wanted something super cheerful and colourful and envisioned a look for our couple that would be flirty and free-spirited. Our florist Alana, of Flowers by Alana, created perfect colourful and cheerful floral arrangements that really pulled the look together!” Crystal told us.
“Our cake designer, Laura, of NW Confections, specializes in sugar flowers, and beautiful decorative designs, and incredible flavours. She hand-made each petal and intricate detail of these sugar flowers on this gorgeous colourful cake!”
“We created this shoot before salon services were allowed during the pandemic. Luckily, one of our favourite makeup artists, Shelby Renee XOXO also happens to love modeling with her fiancé. Since their own wedding plans had been affected, it was a perfect opportunity for them to celebrate their love and get a chance to play bride and groom.” She explained.
“Our teardrop camper came from a local rental company, Oregon Teardrop Rentals, and they have a wedding package that even includes delivery of the teardrop to your location of choice. But even if you can’t find colourful teardrop campers in your area, there are tons of vintage trailers and other types of teardrops and pull-behinds that could be decorated and used for your wedding centrepiece.” Crystal added.
“To recreate this look, all you need is a florist to create a few pieces for you, a cake, a cute dress, and a partner. Of course, if you plan to tie the knot while you’re at it, you’ll need an officiant and some witnesses (and I’d also suggest photographer and florist. Of course, the great thing about having your wedding on the road is that you can tie the knot virtually anywhere.”
