Isabelle and Zach met in high school in an online game called Rift. While dating long distance, Isabelle and Zach met for the first time at Isabelle’s prom. After several years of courtship, Zach proposed over dinner that he made in their apartment during the summer of 2022 in Raleigh.

They enjoy gaming together, trying new food, and spending time with their two-year-old puppy, Tuna. It was important to Isabelle and Zach to honor their Asian culture, incorporate quality food, and be with their closest friends and family for an intimate wedding on Lake Gaston in North Carolina on the first day of fall.

They spent the morning with each of their respective families getting ready in a cozy AirBnb with towering glass windows. Zach’s brother led their wedding ceremony at sunset after being ordained for the occasion, and a six-course traditional Asian meal was prepared for their friends and family to enjoy. The night ended with toasts around the table and celebratory champagne.
