Introducing New Lingerie Boutique ‘Arabel’…
Warning!!! This feature contains pictures of some very sexy lingerie and the odd picture of a boob or bum so if you are of a sensitive nature you might want to look away now. Intrigued? Well today’s post is all about Arabel, a new boutique lingerie range designed and handmade in the UK by Sarah Lister.
Now being a woman with breasts a tad on the larger side of life I am all too aware of the problems faced when I try to find bras and pants that fit without looking like i’m wearing an ‘over the shoulder boulder holder’ , as my dad would say. I am constantly complaining about their size and envy women with smaller breasts, yet time and time again I am told that those ladies with a smaller chests have just as much of a problem. This is where Sarah comes in, many of her designs have been created for those that are more petite yet want beautiful and good quality underwear that fits their natural curves. The first soft bras will be on sale soon at arabel with underwired styles to follow, available from sizes 30AA – 36C.
We asked Sarah about her new range…
How Would you describe the collection?
My designs are ultra feminine, and feature delicate lace, vibrant satin and oversized bows. They are pretty and playful, some have even described them as ‘fairy princess lingerie’.
What Makes your designs different?
Traditionally luxury lingerie in the UK is made of silk, but I chose to use satin as an animal friendly alternative.
What do you enjoy about your job?
I particularly love creating bespoke designs for customers who want something extra special for their honeymoon or something that they cannot find on the high street.
What does the future hold for Arabel?
I am working on introducing a luxury bridal range in the future featuring garters, basques and corsetry.
If you would like to meet Sarah, she is holding a pop up sale at the Paolita & Kiss Me Deadly lingerie boutique on 3rd and 4th of May. The boutique is co-owned by luxury swimwear label Paolita and retro lingerie label Kiss Me Deadly, and their designs will also be available for purchase. Sarah will be selling samples, meeting customers and showcasing her designs -including the new Camidolls (camisole/ babydoll hybrids) – for the very first time.
This is a free event on Friday 3rd May from 13.00 to 21.00 and is open to the public. Light refreshments and nibbles will be provided. Garments will also be available for purchase on Saturday 4th May from 11.00 – 18.00.
Arabel is offering exclusive discounts for all garments purchased and orders placed in store. Furthermore, the first 5 customers will receive a special £10 gift voucher to use at www.arabel.co.uk.
