The NSFW Edition has some categories that are, let’s say, not to be played in public, near your grandparents and especially not around your in-laws 🙂 Or better yet, play it WITH them! You’ll all get to know each other pretty quickly and learn more about each other than you’d definitely like.
But the real question is, are you brave enough to put your most twisted, horrible answers down or will you pretend you never had them and write something else which leaves other players to take your answers? How To Play
Learning how to play Manic Minute couldn’t be easier! It’s super quick and easy to learn so let’s jump right in:
- Have one player ready to turn over the card at the top of the deck and another player ready to flip the timer at the same time.
- Once the new category has been revealed, you all have 1 Manic Minute to write down as many answers as you can!
- When the timer is finished, compare your answers with the other players’. If any of your answers match with another player, you both cross that answer off – it no longer counts! The aim is to think of answers no one else will think of.
- Add up your remaining answers (if any) and that’s your score for that round.
- Play again and again!

We don’t want to reveal too much but things you have just 1 Manic Minute to write down your answers for are very very naughty – but one category we can reveal is Things you would wear on a hen night! Believe us when we say that the 1 Manic Minute goes really really fast when your opponents are furiously writing things down and all you have written down is Pizza Delivery Boy for a certain category…..
Tips for winning
You can play Manic Minute however you like, the rules are so easy that you can customise them to suit your relationship and friends. However, we have a few quick tips to help you beat the others and climb to the top:
Figure out your opponents’ play style – will they just write down the most obvious answers or are they ‘outside of the box’ thinkers? Will they try to think of every little detail from that category such as ‘windows’ or ‘air’? No? Then perhaps you should as they’re not as annoying as you are! And be outrageous – dare you right down what your filthy mind is really thinking…….
