Off The Record: Picnics, Parties & Pina Coladas!
Can you believe it’s Sunday already?! I’m freaking out because I’m leaving for Glastonbury in 3 days and I literally haven’t sorted anything out! It’s the clothes I’m most worried about, trying to pack light for warm weather, hot weather, cold weather, rainy weather and mud is not done easily in my books! Luckily for me a couple of my friends got together to make me a Glastonbury survival kit so I’ve got my toiletries and necessities sorted! What a bunch of babes! Me and Em also took full of advantage of the one day of sunshine we had this week by picnicking in the park! We totally had ice cream too…hell yes. We even topped the week off with an evening of cocktails and tapas! We have spoiled ourselves this week haven’t we!

What Jess Is Loving This Week:
♥ Cardiff’s Balance exhibition. I went there on Thursday with my sister as she wanted to check it out for her graphic design research, the work there was amazing! Since everything was based around theatre design we saw beautiful set designs and fascinating costumes!
♥ Bloody mary’s but Emily despises them! This recipe for a basil bloody mary on A Beautiful Mess looks absolutely delicious if you ask me!
♥ Shauna mentioned that she was on a big Joyce Lee kick this week and since I’ve checked out her work, I’m in the same position!
♥ Finishing Heroes season 4. (even if it did mean staying up until 3am) I finally made it to the end and was not dissapointed! What a cracking bunch of episodes it has been! Bring back another season PLEEEEAAASEE!
♥ Lunch with my sister, Lydia. We went to a fab restaurant in Cardiff called Greenwood & Browns and indulged in olives, calamari & mussels! NOM.
What Emily Is Loving This Week:
♥ Mr T and myself celebrated our one year anniversary this month at the exact same restaurant that we visited on our first date.
♥ Tapas dates with my good friend Sophie and for a second time to celebrate the one year birthday of the gym that both myself and Jess are members of. Tapas twice in one week, is that bad?
♥ Double dating with Mr T’s bestie and his wonderful wife to watch ‘Man of Steel’ – that dude is ripped!
♥ Instagram video has certainly been one of the highlights of my week. I fell in love with Vine when it first appeared on the scene but Instagram video is winning hands down with the added option of filters.
What We’re Loving In The Wedding World:

♥ And while we’re on the topic of boudoir shoots, these photos from Story Board Weddings are rustic and beautiful!
♥ We love cake pops! In fact, we love pretty much any type of food on a stick! B Loved Weddings have some fab alternatives to cake pops!

♥ Couldn’t agree more with Story Board Weddings about seating at the ceremony!
